The Saalio^® textile electrodes are suitable to also treat other body regions like face, forehead, neck or torso by means of tap water Iontophoresis. In contrast to plate electrodes, the textile electrodes are anatomically pre-shaped and can adjust very well to the body contour when wet.

Each Saalio^® textile electrode consists of 3 layers of natural-coloured fleece (cotton and cellulose), free of colouring agents or preservatives. Special patterns let the flat fleece layers assume shapes that are suitable for different anatomic regions. Soft graphite fibers have been incorporated into the middle layer.
